LeadingAge Connecticut is a partnership of strength. Our strength lies in the knowledge and experience of our members. Membership in LeadingAge Connecticut is an investment by your organization to assure the continued growth and prosperity of your organization and the field of aging services. As a LeadingAge Connecticut member, you not only benefit from the expertise of others, but also share in the development of the field. Founded in 1961, LeadingAge Connecticut is a membership organization representing not-for-profit and mission driven nursing homes, residential care homes, senior housing, continuing care retirement communities, adult day centers, home care agencies and assisted living communities. In its vision to empower not-for-profit and mission driven organizations to optimize choices for successful aging, LeadingAge Connecticut serves as Connecticut's resource for advocacy, membership enhancement and promotion of public awareness on behalf of not-for-profit and mission driven providers pursuing excellence in serving older adults.

Benefits of Membership

LeadingAge Connecticut members receive the benefits of membership in both the LeadingAge Connecticut and LeadingAge (formerly AAHSA). The information and expertise that is afforded to our members comes from both the state and the national level. 

Not-for-profit Provider Members receive the following benefits:

Provider Membership & Provider Affiliate Membership

Provider members of LeadingAge Connecticut may be any not-for-profit, voluntary or government-sponsored organization providing housing or care for the aging. Provider affiliate members are mission driven organizations who adopt the LeadingAge Quality First principles.

To be Informed

• Be the first to know of and act on key state and federal legislative and regulatory developments through weekly e-mail communications, online alerts, and timely legal advisories.
